Laion Agency complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act 2018. If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, this notice describes your rights and our obligations.
1. Your Rights Under GDPR
As an EU/UK data subject, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ('right to be forgotten')
- Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to Object — object to processing of your personal data
- Right to Restriction — restrict how we use your data
2. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data under one or more of these legal bases: consent (when you submit forms), contract (when providing services), legitimate interests (improving services), or legal obligation (compliance).
3. International Data Transfers
As a US-based company, we transfer data outside the EU/UK. All transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of protection.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. Client data is retained for the duration of the service relationship plus 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Marketing data is deleted upon request or 24 months of inactivity.
